When you’ve got too much sun (looking at you, west-facing patios) a Sun Shade is the perfect solution. Sun Shades block 95% of UV rays, but keep great visibility, making your outdoor space usable again. Rolled up or rolled down, our sleek designs and fabric variety will keep your patio looking great.
Sun Peak Shade has the answer to customized retractable shade products. Unrivaled choices in style and design are available to enhance the beauty of a home or business, inside or out.
Motorized shades are the easiest way to make a great setting for your outdoor space. Fully customizable like our manual, non-motorized shades they come in custom colors and sizes to match your existing decor. However, motorized shades offer several advantages:
We will visit your space in-person and walk you through product options, colors, and installation details.
Professional service from start to finish, we’ll protect your home and handle every detail.
Sun Shades come with warranties for all components, with terms varying from 5 years to lifetime.
We like to bring samples to show how your Sun Shade operate and what it will look like in your outdoor space. A representative will generally show you colors of fabrics, metals, explain anything specific you might need to understand given your mounting situation and application. Once your representative gets measurements and you decide what you like, they are able to give you pricing on the spot.
Typically, the whole process lasts around 30 minutes.
Fabrics come in a variety of densities, starting at 65% light-blocking and going to 97%, or even full blackout. When the sun is up, you will get great privacy from anything 90%+ dense. When your area is backlit and it is dark outside later in the evening, a 97% fabric will allow for neighbors to see some figures and shapes, but not more detail than that.
Our Sun Shades are the industry standard for quality. We use thick-guage aluminum tracks and mounting brackets, weather resistant vinyl-coated polyester fabric, and durable epoxy metal coating. All of these elements mean your shade will look and perform like new for a long time.
The only issues we have with these are generally manufacturing errors and are covered under warranty.
Our lead time varies throughout the season. Typically we expect around a five week lead time late in the spring and early summer. Mid summer through the fall is about a three week lead time, and other parts of the year we can run as low as two weeks out.
